Through a partnership of family, school, and community, Cornerstone provides a Christ-centered, nurturing, and academically robust education forming the children of Washington, D.C. in the habits of faith, love, and learning essential to becoming wise, compassionate, and virtuous leaders who serve others in light of Christ and His Truth.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Staff Volunteer: This position is for anyone interested in committing to volunteer at Cornerstone on a consistent, weekly basis throughout the year— one day per week, 2+ hours. This can include academic tutoring and serving in our Lions’ Den after school program.

  • Partner Program: Learn more about partnering with a 2nd-8th grade student through our Partner Program here.

  • Breakfast and Lunch Support: These opportunities can include providing breakfast foods for our students on a monthly basis, assisting with serving school lunches to students weekly (Tuesday-Thursday), providing snacks to bless seniors and staff monthly, and sponsoring a meal for staff on an in-service day.

  • At-Home Library Project: This opportunity allows volunteers to purchase a specific set of books from a Cornerstone-curated list to help students build their own “at-home library”. Volunteers would also be able to assist with distribution to students.
